Matt Kondolf is a fluvial geomorphologist specializing in environmental river management and restoration. Prof. Kondolf's research focuses on human-river interactions, with emphasis on managing of flood-prone lands, managing sediment in rivers and reservoirs, and river restoration.

University of Queensland

Duncan is Lecturer in Ancient History at the University of Queensland. His research focuses on the relationship between environment, technology and society in the Roman world and he has a current project on the role of climate in Roman history.
